New Zealand 2008

Role: Voice over opening credits

Production: September 2008

Director: Campbell Cooley

Summary: The Hobbit Lady Mrs. Bracegirdle (Lori Dungey) gets told (by Craig Parker or rather a Star Wars-like Haldir who survived because he was always carrying band aids) to find the Hobbits which are spread all over the country. She has to give dragon eggs to them which will start to glow and finally lead them home, when Mrs. Bracegirdle has found all of them. But it's a dangerous task and she has a horrible enemy ... // The movie is a sequel to "Mrs. Bracegirdle's Woodlyn Park Adventues" in which Lori explored the Woodlyn Park Hotel in New Zealand which also offers Hobbit holes as accomodations. Both films were exclusively shot for Ring*Con visitors.

Mark's Lines: Many years ago, the forces of evil rose up and swept across the lands of Middle Earth, nearly destroying all its peaceful inhabitants. Those who survived the onslaught, scattered across the known world and went into hiding. In the course of time, after the Great Darkness was defeated, a lone Hobbit went on a quest to find a new home for those who had gone into hiding. She often disguised herself and visited many lands searching for a new home where the residents of Middle Earth could return and live in peace. Her Journey to find a sanctuary took her to many dangerous places ... But none provided a haven for safety. Until one day, she visited a mystical land called AOTEAROA ... and found a place stanger than even MORDOR itself.
