Welcome

September 2011

[+] The people of Ring*Con added the second version of their program. There might be more versions to come so be sure to check out the website regularly. (19.09.2011)

[+] Better (very) late than never - I've added Solveig's Ring*Con 2010 pictures to the gallery: 5th row, 4th pictures and following. (16.09.2011)

[+] The Ring*Con 2011 autograph and photo session prices are out. Mark's autograph is available for 15 Euro, a photo with him at the official photo session for 20 Euro. The full list can be found at the Ring*Con webpage. Just four weeks to go! (16.09.2011)

[+] The DVD of "My Wedding and Other Secrets" (Released July 20th) is available for International Buyers at MightyApe.co.nz. Next to the rather lovely movie it contains - according to the Facebook site - Chinese Subtitles, Bloopers, Behind the Scenes, Audio Commentary and a Short Film. Just be aware that it's a region 4 DVD that won't work on all players. If one of you buys it, let me know if there's anything of Mark in the Extras, please? (12.09.2011)

[+] Almost forgot that - the program of Ring*Con 2011 is online. Looks very promising and like a busy weekend :) (06.09.2011)

[+] There've been several interviews, articles and more concerning the release of "My Wedding and other secrets". I've added some to the page: TheMovingArts.com: ‘My Wedding and Other Secrets’ at Barbican’s New Zealand Film Festival, Variety.com: My Wedding and Other Secrets, MelbourneGeek.com: Review, Critic.co.nz: Review and YouTube: Lovely video with interviews and more. (06.09.2011)

August 2011

[+] I've added screencaps of My Wedding and Other Secrets to the gallery. (23.08.2011)

[+] The movie Girl Meets Boy (in which Mark plays Mr. White) was renamed a while ago. It's now called 'My Wedding And Other Secrets' and has a Facebook page, too. The movie was released in March, you can see the trailer here. (20.08.2011)

[+] I've added another video of Mark at the Ring*Con 2010 press conference, talking about how he prepared for his MC job. You can find it at the bottom of the Audio/Video page. (17.08.2011)

[+] Added the missing numbers now, so the stats are up to date. (14.08.2011)

[+] I've done a little CSS3 experiment - the layout now has spiffy rounded edges. What do you think? Should work in the latest versions of Firefox, IE and Chrome at least. And after adding a decent doctype (ahem!) the website even looks good in IE. (13.08.2011)

[+] I've worked a little on the stats page and added the missing numbers for the rest of 2010 and the first three months of 2011. More to follow. (13.08.2011)

[+] Mark will be in the new series of Spartacus. Pictures from his very short appearances in the trailer can be found in the gallery. I've also set up the info page, including a link to the trailer on YouTube. (12.08.2011)

[+] I've changed the 'From the Gallery' section a little, there now are more but smaller pictures. It looks neater this way, I think. (12.08.2011)

[+] Hello everyone! I am alive and well, just still pretty busy. I'll try to start updating anyway. Not sure how much time will be left for this, but I'm trying :) Let's start with an article about Gil-galad being cut out of The Lord of the Rings almost completely: Gil-galad. Missing from Peter Jackson’s trilogy but not forgotten. (10.08.2011)

May 2011

UPDATE I know, I know. I promised to re-start updating so many times and yet I am still busy with the thesis. I am alive and well and still very interested in this site, just have a little more patience. Anyway - the Ring*Con 2010 DVD will be available at the Goblinshop from May 17th on. I just had a short look, but it again seems pretty worth the money :) (11.05.2011)

March 2011

UPDATE And another update with me telling you that I am still busy with my thesis :( I should finish it quite soon, actually. Hopefully. I haven't forgotten the website and do have some lovely things to add - I will do so when the thesis is handed in, promised. Thanks for your patience. (19.03.2011)

February 2011

UPDATE - Birthday You see me updating more than I should. Ahem. Anyway - it's already February 28th in quite some parts of the world, so it's a good chance to say: Happy Birthday, Mark. Even though you're 29 now, you're not looking any older than 28. (28.02.2011)

UPDATE - Ring*Con I am still way too busy to properly update here (but I am almost done with the thesis, yay!), but these are such fantastic news that I needed to post them. Mark will be at Ring*Con 2011 in Bonn, Germany. He'll be, again, the MC of the event that runs from October 14th to 16th. As he has done a magnificent job last year, this definitely is something to look forward to. The news item: "At RingCon 2010, he made his brilliant debut as Master of Ceremonies and completely delighted you. Your desire for him to come back as Master of Ceremonies at RingCon 2011 wasn't left unheard. We have asked him and yes, he is coming back! Mark will host RingCon 2011, our 10th anniversary, in his unbelievably charming and professional style. One more reason for looking forward to RingCon 2011. (To be found here). Welcome back, Mr. Ferguson. (25.02.2011)

UPDATE! I am still working on my PhD Thesis and a little behind my schedule so far :) A bunch of chapters is already written, some more to follow. I might be able to pay some more attention to the website late February, at least I am hoping so. I am working all day to get this done asap. Thank you for your patience so far, anyway! (05.02.2011)
